Shichi-go-san (Special Blessing for 7, 5, 3 years old)


To thank for the child's health and growth, and to wish further growth and honesty in the future.

Age 3

The age of three is called “Kamioki,” a ceremony which held in the edo period, the child begins to grow his or her hair, which had previously been shaved, and is celebrated by both boys and girls.

Age 5

The fifth year is called “Hakama-gi,” or the ceremony of putting on Hakama ( Japanese traditional pants) for the first time, and is celebrated for boys.

Age 7

The seventh birthday is called “Obi-Toki”, a ceremony for girls to remove the sash from their kimono and replace it with an new sash for adult.

It is usually celebrated on 15hth November, but in recent years, many people have chosen a better date in Autumn.

Fee for the pray: from 5,000 yen
We ask for a minimum contribution from 5,000 yen.

Amulet for child, Special candy for Shichi-go-san, Wooden wishing tablet, balloon and toy.


After the blessing, please choose favorite toy for child.


Reservation for Prayer Service

Reservations for prayer services are accepted only on weekdays by e-mail.  Reservations for weekends, holidays, and the dog’s days (including weekdays) cannot book in advance. Please come directly to the shrine.
E-mail reservations can be made up to 2 days prior to the desired date.


Please note that during the season of Shichi-Go-San season, there is a possibility that several groups will be guided at the same time, even on weekdays.

There are times when prayers are not available due to weddings and other reasons.
